A little about Aero Door. We manufacture, assemble and erect STEEL DOORS on AIRCRAFT HANGARS. We regularly work on military bases and other highly restricted areas. A clean background is required. We are a family owned business that was started by my Father in 1978. As of 2012 my brother and I have owned and operated the company. We are looking for highly qualified individuals that want more than a job.
Full time position
- Looking for an experienced Iron worker that is willing to travel.
- Looking for a person that is serious about their craft and takes pride in it.
- Looking for someone that has experience leading a crew of Iron workers.
- Needs to be able to work occasionally at Heights of up to 100′ off the ground.
- Needs to know how to read a tape measure.
- Needs to know how to operate tools such as a torch, welding machine both stick and mig, plasma cutter, torch, grinder and drill, etc.
- Should be able to understand basic math.
- Is willing to work hard everyday and to be a leader.
- Must be willing to work 40 plus hours per week.
- Health and dental benefits applicable after initial probation period has been completed. Pay rate is based on experience. Starting pay for Ironworkers with accredited welding certifications is $28/hour in town rate and $33.60/hr is the out of town rate.
