Aero Doors contracted price included everything from engineered design to an operational door. The only exclusions were concrete and sheeting.
The 150ft x 28ft bottom rolling door was designed, fabricated, and primed at Aero Doors fabrication facilities in Eustis Florida. It was delivered to the job site by a nationwide transportation company and unloaded by Aero Doors’ own field installers. Door assembly, erection, and configuration took several weeks which included over 500ft of ASCE bottom rail and 2,000ft of conduit, fittings, and low-voltage wiring.
Each of the six door leaves can move independently to the left or right. AeroDoor included a push button station on the inside and outside of each door leaf for simple and safe operation.
Black sensing edges span each of the twelve door edges. The role of this military spec sensing edge is to bring the door to an immediate stop when there is contact with an obstruction. There’s a “Trip/Fail” indicator light and keyed bypass switch on the face of every control panel.
AeroDoor includes a 25-year warranty on every wheel, top guide roller, and door frame. A testament to the level of workmanship and components in our door.
At the end of the project AeroDoor co owner Jonathan Mathews provided a morning of owner training in the presence of the general contractor and the client. Topics covered door operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
