Contracted to design, manufacture and install these two hangar doors on a Government Air Force Base in Arkansas. There is a motor operator inside the leading edge panel that drives the hangar door in one direction to open or close. The military grade sensing edges will stop the door before it comes in to contact with anything. The door panels are interconnected with the drive leaf by a wrap around cable system.
Built to serve the C-130J program at the base, the new 66,000 sq. ft. hangar is comprised of two 30,000 sq. ft. hangar bays with a two-story, 2,500 sq. ft. administration building between them. Spaces include offices, shower/locker room, cell rooms for fuel cell maintenance, tool checkout spaces, conference rooms, storage, and a break room.
