AeroDoor Warranty

AeroDoor International LLC (“MANUFACTURER”) warrants to the original purchaser, subject to all the terms and conditions hereof, that the AeroDoor Bottom Rolling Hangar Door (“PRODUCT”) and all door components thereof will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the following period(s), measured from the date of installation:

25-Year Warranty

  • Structural door frame
  • Workmanship
  • Top guide rollers
  • Bottom wheels 1

1-Year Warranty

  • Weather stripping
  • All electrical and mechanical components

MANUFACTURER’s obligation under this warranty is specifically limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part that is determined by MANUFACTURER to be defective during the applicable warranty period. MANUFACTURER’s repair or replacement labor starts on the date PRODUCT is delivered. After the warranty expires, all diagnostic, parts, and labor charges are excluded.

To maintain the validity of this warranty, all installations, annual inspections, and repairs must be performed by factory-certified technicians to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications. The purchaser is responsible for maintaining service records; MANUFACTURER reserves the right to request verification that all labor was performed by certified personnel prior to honoring any warranty claim.

This warranty is made to the original purchaser of the PRODUCT only and is not transferable or assignable without written consent of MANUFACTURER. This warranty does not apply to any unauthorized alteration or repair of the PRODUCT, or to any component that has been damaged or deteriorated due to poor installation, misuse, neglect, accident, failure to utilize factory-certified labor, failure to provide necessary maintenance, normal wear and tear, acts of God, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of MANUFACTURER.

This warranty does not apply to any damage or deterioration caused by exposure to salt water, chemical fumes, surface preparation or coating processes (including painting, sandblasting, galvanizing, or similar treatments), or other corrosive or aggressive environments, whether naturally occurring or man-made, including, but not limited to, environments with a high degree of humidity, sand, dirt, or grease, or blowing sand, dirt, or other abrasive materials.

This warranty does not apply to any failure, damage, or deterioration resulting from the inadequacy, deficiency, movement, or failure of the host structure or foundation intended to support the PRODUCT. The host structure and foundation must be designed and constructed to safely accommodate the full weight, reactions, and loading requirements of the PRODUCT. MANUFACTURER shall bear no liability or responsibility for any consequences, damages, or expenses arising from the inadequacy or failure of the host structure or foundation. All costs, responsibilities, and liabilities associated with the structural design, engineering, verification, and adequacy of the host structure and foundation—whether new or existing—are solely the responsibility of others.

The purpose of MANUFACTURER paint primer is to provide protection for structural steel members during transportation and temporary job site storage only. It is not designed to perform as a finish coat when exposed to environmental conditions.

IN NO EVENT SHALL MANUFACTURER BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, OR LIABLE TO ANYONE FOR, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, COLLATERAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Such excluded damages include, but are not limited to, loss of goodwill, loss of profits, loss of use, cost of any substitute PRODUCT, interruption of business, or other similar indirect financial loss.

Claims under this warranty must be made promptly after discovery, within the applicable warranty period, and in writing to AERODOOR INTERNATIONAL LLC. The purchaser must allow MANUFACTURER a reasonable opportunity to inspect any PRODUCT claimed to be defective prior to removal or any alteration of its condition. Proof of the purchase and/or installation date, service history verification, and identification as the original purchaser may be required.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by MANUFACTURER and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

1 Wheel bearings are warrantied for 1 year since they require periodic grease to prolong life. Refer to owner’s manual.
